We soon arrived at the enormous barn and were greeted with a smile and a cup of tea by the lovely Vets Amy and Kelly from Castle Veterinary Group. We filled out our forms and all huddled together on the hay bales among the many sheep with their lambs and some pregnant mothers about to drop.
Tintagel, the fabled birthplace of King Arthur is a fabulous day out for all ages. With so much to explore from the heady heights of the castle, to the depths of Merlin’s Cave, this town is popular and unique.
The place has been transformed in 6 months from a muddy old storage barn, to a stunning well finished high class holiday retreat. Don’t just take my word for it, come on down and see for yourself.
Hopefully you all had a very lovely Christmas and a fabulous New Year. 2015 is going to be an amazing year. The Coombe Farm team are excited about what the year will hold, the new animals and people we will soon be meeting, and getting cracking on the gardening and the vegetable patch.
A Christmas visit to Padstow at dusk had the children gasping in amazement. There by the sea wall swam the Loch Ness Monster! Such a long and hazardous journey from Scotland?
On Thursday I headed off to participate for the first time in the local auction of oven ready Turkeys. Up at Hallworthy the punters gathered ready to get their festive food at a great price. I was eagerly anticipating the action, as I’d never been before, and I did need to get a turkey for the Conway Christmas dinner!
