Tintagel, the fabled birthplace of King Arthur is a fabulous day out for all ages. With so much to explore from the heady heights of the castle, to the depths of Merlin’s Cave, this town is popular and unique.
A Christmas visit to Padstow at dusk had the children gasping in amazement. There by the sea wall swam the Loch Ness Monster! Such a long and hazardous journey from Scotland?
The Coombe Farm team were up and out bright and early to get to Bodmin General station with plenty of time to catch the “Santa by Steam” train. I don’t know who was more excited, the parents or the kids, and we arrived extremely early decked out in our Christmas jumpers (as Ella had insisted!).
We knew all about the amazing Cornish beaches, but what was a totally unexpected bonus was discovering, (and continue to discover,) all that Bodmin Moor has to offer. We love it, it’s great for walking, riding, climbing, paddling in lakes, having a picnic and exploring.
