Theatres & Shows
Sterts Theatre at Upton Cross is a great night out. It is a brilliant and unusual theatrical settings: an 400-seat amphitheatre nestling on the grassy side of Bodmin Moor, in the open Cornish air but is protected from summer rain by a massive canopy. It’s a great idea to take snacks along while you enjoy one of the many shows on offer. From family classics, to comedy to more high brow shows, there is something to entertain everyone. Another option for memorable theatre venue is the open air Minack Theatre, down near Porthcurno on the southern coast. This world famous open-air amphitheatre is cut into the rocks and has a stunning view of the Atlantic ocean as the backdrop to the drama on the stage. It’s a bit further to drive, but definitely worth it for a matinee or evening performance. There is always a varied program of events. This will be a theatre experience you never forget.

Pirate FM the local radio site offer money off various outings. It’s definitely worth a look before you head out. Also they have many half price restaurant offers.
Past guests have bought days out through GroupOn offers to save a few pennies on entry to places they wanted to visit.
