Cardinham Woods
This mixed woodland is beautiful, and a great place to enjoy the marked trails for walking, cycling or horse riding. There is also a children’s playground and a yummy coffee shop. Free entry but pay to park.

Caradon Trail
This trail, popular with cyclists & walkers, covers a 17 mile stretch (though as options for smaller trails) over some of the most beautiful parts of Bodmin Moor including The Hurlers, and Cheesewring. Download the App!

Camel Trail – Wadebridge to Padstow
This is 5.2 miles, and should take around 30 minutes to cycle, but it may take you longer as you stop to soak up the fabulous coastal views. It is an easy, traffic free, flat ride with good surface. Ideal for young children. To make it longer head on to Bodmin.

Lanhydrock (National Trust, entrance fees apply to house)
In the wooded estate of this Victorian Country house, trails have been specially designed with cyclists in mind. They are graded from green – red to cater for everyone. A copy of the trails map can be downloaded from their website to help you plan your routes in advance.
