Andy Bacon kindly donated his prize to the Von Reibnitz family, who came and enjoyed a sunny weekend at the end of September.
Although the pool had been bedded down for the winter there was still plenty to do at all times of year. They had a day on the beach (be silly not to!), got to know the animals and the kids ran about in the safe gardens.
They attempted the circle walk which can be done, heading out straight from the farm, no car required. I think they did not make the full circle this time, and ended up having a great pub Sunday roast just down the road.
Everyone seemed to be really enjoying the farm and the local area. They gave good feedback on the accommodation saying it was “spotless… perfect for children, lovely children can join in with the feeding and great some of the animals are free to roam…thanks for everything, a lovely family and very special weekend”
